My Seniors Keeper Foundation’s programs connect environmental stewardship, intergenerational learning, and practical workforce development. Through hands-on education, applied research, and community-based training, MSK equips residents with the knowledge, skills, and support needed to strengthen their neighborhoods.
MSK’s Applied Research Urban Farm serves as a hands-on learning and demonstration site where sustainable food systems, environmental stewardship, and community learning come together. The farm functions as a living laboratory where youth, seniors, volunteers, and community members engage in hands-on projects related to food production, site stewardship, and neighborhood resilience.
This work is designed to test and model practical solutions that can be adapted in other communities, helping residents build stronger local food systems while learning directly from the land.
MSK's Ag-STEAM Education program connects agriculture, science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics through hands-on community learning. Through real-world projects participants connect engage in practical experiences that build problem-solving skills, creativity, environmental awarenessm and confidence while exploring how STEAM concepts apply to everyday life and neighborhood improvement.
This approach makes learning practical and engaging while helping youth and community members build problem-solving skills, creativity, and confidence through applied experiences.
MSK’s Energy Resilience program helps communities strengthen preparedness through practical education, renewable energy exposure, and hands-on learning connected to off-grid power, emergency readiness, and neighborhood sustainability. Through demonstrations and community-based activities, participants gain a better understanding of how resilient energy systems can support households, community spaces, and local food systems during times of disruption.
MSK’s workforce development program, Hustlaz 2 Harvesters (H2H), provides entry-level training in green infrastructure trades, including building maintenance, light carpentry, and urban agriculture. The program creates pathways to employment through hands-on learning and real-world project experience.
H2H places a strong emphasis on supporting returning citizens by offering structured opportunities to rebuild skills, establish stability, and reconnect with the community. Participants engage in meaningful work that contributes to neighborhood improvement while developing discipline, confidence, and practical trade experience.
Mind, Body & Soil is MSK’s community learning initiative that connects families, youth, and community members through hands-on, place-based learning in Tulsa. The program centers on intergenerational engagement, practical life skills, and environmental stewardship rooted in the history and spirit of the Greenwood community.
Participants engage in meaningful work that builds discipline, responsibility, and real-world experience while strengthening connections to land, community, and shared purpose.
